LOTTE R&D Center is dedicated to
researching and developing health and
wellness food products that enrich everyday life.
LOTTE R&D Center was established on June 1, 1983, with the goal of contributing to the health and well-being of humanity. Over the past 40 years, our achievements have led to the creation of countless best-selling products under the LOTTE Wellfood, LOTTE Chilsung Beverage, and LOTTE GRS brands. Today, LOTTE R&D Center is responsible for all food product research and development under the LOTTE brand. Our work spans new product and packaging design, process improvement, and product safety management across both manufacturing and retail environments.

Guided by the LOTTE Group’s vision of being a “Lifetime Value Creator,” LOTTE R&D Center brings this vision to life through food. Our own vision of “Better Food, Better Life” drives us to develop health and wellness foods that not only taste great but also support overall health and well-being. Our portfolio includes health-functional foods, care foods, and vegan products designed to provide meaningful experiences for consumers at every stage of life.

To deliver value to consumers worldwide, we have established global R&D centers in Indonesia and Vietnam, and maintain active R&D networks in countries such as Japan, India, and Kazakhstan. These international efforts play a key role in promoting K-food culture globally. We are also committed to sustainability through eco-friendly packaging solutions and food upcycling initiatives. In addition, we contribute to sustainable food research and shared growth by offering education and training programs to communities around the world.
